PERSPECTIVE

Sitting in math today and bored out of my mind the professors voice was dim to me.... and of coarse my mind wondered off.... so stay with me.... you know how when you look at the back of the desk of the person who is sitting in front of you, at the time the teacher is rambling and you could give two shits about what he/she is talking about because your stomach is empty your effing tired from talking on the phone late the night before to someone you really didn't want to talk to anyway, you still with me.... well as i was looking at the back of the chair amongst all the writing and pictures of stick figures doing each other of the "call me" remarks (i seriously wanna slap the people who do that)... but the word PERSPECTIVE jumped at me and the words Jesus Christ and help and love and self and how and i noticed they all had arrows connecting one another from all different portions of the desk as if two people who had never seen one another we having a conversation...... i put it together in the only way it made sense to me and it said...

weekend madness

Geez my day alone was way to busy.....
woke..... then church then after church..... great lunch (best vegetarian sandwich at CPK)with my pops and kid sister and my bestie toney..... then back to dads house.... then breath for like 10 mins then to my grandmas to be spoiled a bit.... then to my moms house..... she did my laundry.... i miss home, an then her husband (which would make him my step dad) brought me home my favorite banana cream pie...... then left moms .... went to spread my love some more at a long lost friends house..... then took toney home now in my bed...... thus leading to GOOD EFFING NIGHT!!!! My Heros.....

The election has taken a tole on me.... No i didnt vote many may knock me or look down upon me for not doing so but i have my reason, it doesnt mean that im not educated on everything that is going on around me...... anyways i was extremely emotional about the whole thing... i have never been so pasionate in one week about something in my life, long 19 year of it right? lol....(might have went over your head lol).... i was angry; "a message from toia: to all niggers (meaning ignorant cuz thats what it means)........ all of this about obama won stuff, I'm not knocking my culture i am extremely proud and am happy that i have had the opportunity to live to see the day that a black president has taken the lead for change.we have gone from our ancestors being in society and labled in the the category of nothingness locked in chains and whipped. they would be proud but disappointed in the action of us youth they would look at our generation in dissatisfaction because of the way that we are exhibiting our satisfaction.we have said things to make ourselves look amateurish and as though we were not confident in our selves as a sub culture.we have acted as though we didn't think that we would ever be able to attain greatness i just think we should not act "niggerish":ignorant, love the fact that we have made history embrace our culture stand PROUD! love you all"


I worte my brother and cried because this made me so sad to see how rediculously my culture was acting and how i know i should be happy (i was dont get me wrong) but i was hurt and deeply sadden even disappointed in our sub culture of "pop culture" really what is that? (sorry just thinking out loud), but my crying session :

me: "talk to me please.... why is our generation so ignorant marquice i wanna cry because they are so damn stupid an uneducated and it is driving me crazy we live in a generation that doesnt even deserve to call them selves one!!!!!!"

Brother: "what happened?"

Me: "Obama one thats what happened (im happy), but everyone my age us acting so atupid quice saying shit like my nigga won, finally we are taking over, they are just being idioic... they dont realize the beauty of what happend and how if our ancestors who went through slavery, segragation, dr. king, malcom X, rosa parks, marcus gravey, would all be so disapointed in our presentaion of our satisfaction for change, its jut giving white people a reason to doubt us and call is niggers for being so ignorant!!!!!!"


Brother: "toi, its not our place to judge others, only ourselves; even when th actions of people around us are disappointing, we should be beacon of light for those in darkness. Dont be upset or mad at them rather pray for them. Remember that the presidency is a position appointed by man, for man, If God is not our first and last thought, no ture change is possible.It is the hearts of men (and women) that need to reflect God's plan, you will have no reason to be angered with your nrothers. until then, pray for the leaders of the land an the sheep that follow. Pray they turn to God and follow the teachings of his son Jesus (God is flesh and blood). Through him, all things are possible and no affliction great enough to be cured. Thank God for another day to breather and let him 9God) take care of the rest..... AMEN."



Me: "Thank you so much that was much needed because people dont realize their ignorancy and have lost sight of our lord and savior and are living in this world far too deeply.... I will keep them in my prayers in hopes that they reject this secular mind state and inconsistancy we live in.... I love you and thank you... it just makes me sad......"


Brother: " just be thankful you have this knowledge and that you have a heart for God. He will make things happy in your life."

Me: " thanks quice i am thankful.... I love you goodnight... THANK YOU!!!!"


Brother: "Love you too Kid, nite-nite..."



Its just amazing to be how my culture of people have lost sight of the beauty and history of what has happend and are only proud of the other that has been attached to our nations new leader. it saddens me..... goodnight and i love you all who have gotten me to this point in my life.....

The future can not be punished an yet be held accountable for the wrong doings of past time, they don't have an understanding of one another they aren't acquaintances................. they have no common ground besides you, one black and ones white, ones dusk and the other dawn, one in ones out............The footprints in the sand behind you, lead to those in the future to look forward to, let the wind blow away the ones behind to the sake of memories well being.....
